The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn’t already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.

I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.

She said, "Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I’m eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?"

I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course you may!" and she gave me a giant squeeze.

"Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked.

She jokingly replied, "I’m here to meet a rich husband, get married, and have a couple of kids…"

"No seriously," I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.

"I always dreamed of having a college education and now I’m getting one!" she told me.

After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake.

REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL. We make a Living by what we get, We make a Life by what we give.

MOMENTS IN LIFE

DIs is the morale of the spongebob’s story, the continuation of it.

Morale of the story:

- Always let ur fren be aware of the situation to avoid misunderstanding. (that leads to lethal at times. lol)

- No matter how angry u felt at ur frens sometimes that u even feel like eating them up, dun do it. Coz u’ll lose a good fren n they wont taste nice either. (Wahahaha)

- Whenever u hav any problems, discuss it with ur frens, dun just keep quiet n say ntg. That is not gonna help. By keeping mum it’ll only make the matter worse.

- When a problem is detected, n someone takes the initiative to talk it over, then for goodness sake just think about it, talk it over with him/her frankly but in a nice way. Coz if u dun, nobody will know wat’s in ur mind, only God knows, so dun assume we’re God for Pete’s sake.

- When anyone does something which is with the mindset of contributing, plz learn how to appreciate it even though if they really didn’t do a good job on it or maybe even it’s a horrible job. At least they tried their best n they put in the effort n time to do it. if u think that u can do it even better n faster, then u can jolly well go ahead n do it. Nobody’s stopping u. =)

- Evryone is different, nobody is perfect in dis world. We can only try to change to be a better person, but not to bcome perfect. Not evryone can do wat u expect them to do. So just try to be comfortable with wat the others r doin as long as they r not doin anything wrong n they dun bothers u.

- Sometimes we find that our frens doesn turn out to be wat we expected them to be. Like when we need their help but wat is given isn’t the way we wanted it, dun be distress. It is just not in a way that we expected it to be, but the sincerity of helping is still there, in their hearts. Appreciate that my fren. For a heart of sincere from a fren worth much more than any help we can get. =)

So the morale of the whole morale of the story is (lol):-

WHEN U FEEL LIKE EATING UR FREN UP (coz u’re just so furios at them), STOP, THINK TWICE, CALM DOWN, TALK IT OVER, N GO FOR A FEAST OF STEAMBOAT WITH THEM (it definitely will taste nicer than ur fren, trust me. *winkz* )

Frens r always in our heart n in our mind, even though we may not c each other. But still, there will be time for a fren somehow, someday. Say, like maybe December?? Hahaha..

Once upon a time, there lived 4 good frens, which is, spongebob (he’s humongous, so just name him SpongeBIG. Hahaha), spongebob (the smaller one, lets call him Sponge Jr. then), & the minute cookie monster n minute big bird.

One day, Sponge Jr. n his two minute buddies are discussing something. Then came Spongebig who tries to get to know wat is goin on. Spongebig: "Heys, wat r u guys discussing about?? I wana know i wana know." But his questions were not answered coz they were busy discussing.

Actually they were discussing abt a game of hide n seek, where sponge Jr. will go hide n the two minute buddies will seek. So off he goes to hide himself up.   

While Sponge Jr. is hiding, he doesn know that his two minute frens r being gobbled up by Spongebig. That is bcoz he is feeling furious of not being told of wat they were discussing earlier on. So the two minute buddies cries for help desperately in hope that someone might hear them n come to their rescue.

N fortunately, someone really did hear their desperate cries, someone from a land far far away.

Here comes Gingy n Dronkey travelling from "far far away" to save that two pathetic miserable buddies.

N somewhere across the ocean, somebody else heard them too. N they too r coming to their rescue.

Lani & Big Z surfing across the waves to attend to the cry of desperado. Whoosh..!! Woo hoo! (lol-writer laughing XD)

But little did the rescue team know that, before they’re able to save the two buddies, the two buddies were already spat out alive by Spongebig. The reason behind is bcoz he finds them tasting awfully n he doesn like getting his mouth full of fur. (LOL)

Upon reaching, the rescue team saw the two minute buddies explaining the situation to spongebig. After hearing the explaination, he felt vry guilty for almost eating his frens up. (luckily they dun taste good. haha)

He apologize n begs for forgiveness from his two minute buddies. They forgive him n too, they apologize for not explaining the situation earlier to prevent all this from happening.

Meanwhile, sponge Jr. is still waiting n wondering wat’s taking his frens so long to find him. Hence, he decided not to wait anymore n goes on bac on his own in hope to find his frens bac there.

When sponge Jr. reaches home, he finds all his frens bac there n he made some new frens too. They told him the incident that took place n they all felt relieved that it’s all over n evryone’s fine. N the 4 buddies felt grateful to the rescue team for being so ready to help n compassionate. All of them bcame good frens after that. =) Bahahahaha.. Bahahahaha… (spongebob’s signature laugh)

I would jolly well blend in n get into a rich conversation with u if i could..

But there r times i just couldn’t.. i duno how..

I am changing.. n i will change for the better..

I will look for my frens even though they dun look for me..

Tat is bcoz i treasure frenships..

It is not easy for 2 person to hav met in dis whole wide world..

N yet we r here.. Together as frens..

Now tat’s not juz a coincidence.. it is fate tat has brought us together..

So i appreciate, each n evry one of u..

even though sometimes we do bicker n throw tantrum abit..

But it’ll be alrite after some time..

N for some who doesn giv a damn bout replying at all for sucha long time..

I get ur meaning.. N i wont bother u anymore.. u can buzz off for all u like..

I dun giv a damn anymore, TOO..

To some i may hav split personality.. But hey, who doesn’t anyway??

I treat ppl who r nice to me equally nice..

N towards nasty ppl, i can be vry nasty too..

N believe me, u wouldn’t wana c tat side of me..

U will find out how i really am one day, if u r willing to really befren me..

N i wont doubt ur sincerity tat is, if u really meant it to be..

有一对情侣，男的非常懦弱，做什么事情之前都让女友先试。女友对此十分不满。

一次，两人出海，返航时，飓风将小艇摧毁，幸亏女友抓住了一块木板才保住了两人的性命。女友问男友："你怕吗？"男友从怀中掏出 一把水果刀，说：怕，但有鲨鱼来，我就用这个对付它。"女友只是摇头苦笑。

　　不久，一艘货轮发现了他们，正当他们欣喜若狂时，一群鲨鱼出现了，女友大叫：’我们一起用力游，会没事的！"男友却突然用力将女友推进海里，独立扒着木板朝货轮了,并喊道："这次我先试！"女友惊呆了，望着男友的背影，感到非常绝望。鲨鱼正在靠近，可对女 友不感兴趣而径直向男友游去，男友被鲨鱼凶猛地撕咬着，他发疯似地冲女友喊道："我爱你！"

　　女友获救了，甲板上的人都在默哀，船长坐到女友身边说："小姐,他是我见过最勇敢的人。我们为他祈祷！""不，他是个胆小鬼。" 女友冷冷地说。"您怎么这样说呢？刚才我一直用望远镜观察你们，我清楚地看到他把你推开后用刀子割破了自己的手腕。鲨鱼对血腥味 很敏感，如果他不这样做来争取时间，恐怕你永远不会出现在这艘船上….."

    "在很早很早以前的欧洲，有个地方名叫“鸭母吃的蛋”，就是现在的“阿姆斯特丹”。顾名思义，那里的主要产物就是鸭子，也因此会有大量的副产品－鸭蛋。在每年大量的外销之余，总还会剩下非常多的蛋，也造成当地有人死于胆固醇过高(就为了将蛋吃光)。于是当地人就想了一个方法：他们定了一个节日叫“剩蛋节”，他们会在这一天尽力将剩蛋清光。 首先在“剩蛋节”当天，“鸭母吃的蛋”的邻近地区居民会在自己个人的床头挂上一只袜子，然后“鸭母生的蛋”市政府会派出身着红色反光服饰的人(怕被飞机撞)挨家挨户的将蛋放入袜子中(其实袜子是要放蛋的，后来才变成放礼物)。而后为了给民众惊喜，所以改成从烟囱爬入，但这样又造成不少的死伤(烧伤、呛伤，加上又不懂得冲、脱、泡处理法)，所以渐渐的没有年轻人要做了，最后只剩下一些嫌自己活太长的老公公继续做下去，于是人们称他们为“发剩蛋的老公公”，简称“剩蛋老公公”。

　　尽管每户人家都发了蛋，但还是会剩下多余的蛋。于是他们就将那些蛋作成装饰品挂在树上，以招揽观光客及美化环境，这就是“剩蛋树”的由来。

　　由于当地人总喜欢小赌一番，所以后来在“剩蛋节”之前几天，民众会互寄“剩蛋卡”，猜对方这次会收到几颗剩蛋；而猜错和被猜中的人就要像蛇一样，一口气将所有的蛋吞下。因为这天总会有人被蛋噎到，所以又有人叫这天为“噎蛋节”，而让他们吞蛋噎到的卡片就叫做“噎蛋卡”。今年噎到的人往往都会很不服气，所以在明年会寄更多的“噎蛋卡”增加命中率以让别人也噎。

　　以前送蛋的工作都是在“剩蛋节”当天执行，但是数年之 后“剩蛋节”变成国定假日，加上开始周休二日之后，“剩蛋老公公”都在抱怨每次连假都少休一天。于是送蛋的工作 就改成前一天的晚上，这个晚上就称“送蛋夜”，但久而久之人 们又和“剩蛋节”搞混而改称“剩蛋夜”；由于吞蛋的 执 行也是在这晚，那些噎到的人又称这晚为“噎蛋夜”。"
